That's brutal...for him especially

He was banking on himself with that cheap contract. Imo he was having a decent enough year to garner more money, and especially term.

Now he's likely back to the same situation next year.... a year older and trying to prove himself again, after a bad injury.

Sadly (if you could call it that) it likely means he's going to be tacking some Europe years onto his later career
