The "meltdown" started with an awful decision by the ref.

No it was a dumb, unneccesary Blandisi-esque dive. You don't pull that crap when you're up a goal and cruising.

No. If you're going to call something, call it all game. If not, don't suddenly decide to call it late in the game after you've consistently set a standard of acceptable contact. It's horrible game management.

There's always going to he whining about those calls because officials have created a climate where people think it's okay. Not just today.
