I like your thinking here, outside the box, but creative none the less. How about Mathews and the rights to Mitchie?Ya, but one can hope not. What would it take to get his brothers here. LOL

Never mind scoring much, none of them scored at all....... If you had 1 goal contributions from your bottom end of ur lineup every series that's a massive difference. 5 forwards and a combined 64 games between them all scored 0 goals. That's the reality.Nope, I'm sure the 4th liners look at themselves and wish they could score more. But let's live in reality shall we. Guys like Laughten, Lorentz, Jarnkrok, Holmberg etc. are guys that average what, 1 goal every 10-15 games IN THE REGULAR SEASON, it shouldn't be a shocker at all that when the games get tight and harder to play they won't be scoring much in the post season. The only disappointment was McMann who scored 20 goals but couldn't do a damn thing in the playoffs
Sure it would be nice for more ancillary scoring, but based on the group we shouldn't be expecting much. Great scoring from Max, Patches, and Knies should have been enough. An extra 2 or 3 goals from the scrubs down the lineup wasn't winning us the series. Not when 2 games included 6-1 blowouts.
Please go out and find me a team that has won the cup or has made a deep run with 4 guys taking up over half the cap.
Look at Tanev and the amount of Leafs D on this list
PATHETIC SOFT ASS Forwards we got

If the home fans are booing their team then what's the advantage of home ice that they fought so hard to get.I have no problem with booing. It’s pro sports and fans give a lot of their heart to a team and pay a lot of money to watch them play. When they don’t show up in critical games over and over again a little booing is to be expected. Throwing stuff on the ice is not acceptable.
because they refuse to take hits in order to keep the puck out of their zone. LOLHow is it the forwards' fault that the D are getting hit?
It is likely the system if all the Leafs D are that high.
they deserved all those boosIf the home fans are booing their team then what's the advantage of home ice that they fought so hard to get.

5v5 this team could simply not cycle the puck at all
dump and change isn't a giveaway on paper. But that's all we did most of the playoffs 5v5So they kept giving the puck away?
Weird that the forwards don't rank that high for giveaways then.
I think it has more to do with the breakout, but regardless, it needs to be a system issue if they are all playing that way, or Berube has no control over the team.
Berube wasn't making AM fan on every other shot attempt, miss the net more than any player in the first 2 rounds, or make Marner do 360 backhand passes up the middle. So they kept giving the puck away?

no need to apologise, I'm wrong more than half the time too lolI want to apologize to you. You knew these clowns would fail the whole time and warned us during the Ottawa series, but I wanted to believe this team was different, that were going to take the next step. Boy was I wrong. Same old gutless, lazy, overpaid and entitled babies. This organization is cursed with ineptitude.

Completely agree. No one ever questioned his heart and character. He was loved here.I mean, that says more about Roberts than anything...
How does this make sense? It's likely the system because when other teams dump and chase they always finish their checks on the defenders retrieving the pucks? I get that it's your thing since Dubas and Keefe were canned to just trash Tre and Berube in every thread whether it's a passive aggressive comment or just very blatant and then act like you weren't, but this is reaching a little too much. How is it the forwards' fault that the D are getting hit?

That doesn't answer the question of getting home ice advantage. I agree they played poor and people pay a lot of money, but maybe it would've been better to get road ice advantage.they deserved all those boos
Accountability isn't their jam. That's the problem
Just it is. Mitch and AM were ghosts as usual. This is completely unrelated to the conversation, but ok, noted, thank you.
When you have guys that fold under pressure....yeah...road games are better. That doesn't answer the question of getting home ice advantage. I agree they played poor and people pay a lot of money, but maybe it would've been better to get road ice advantage.

money from concessions and jersey sales...............If the home fans are booing their team then what's the advantage of home ice that they fought so hard to get.
