Nope, I'm sure the 4th liners look at themselves and wish they could score more. But let's live in reality shall we. Guys like Laughten, Lorentz, Jarnkrok, Holmberg etc. are guys that average what, 1 goal every 10-15 games IN THE REGULAR SEASON, it shouldn't be a shocker at all that when the games get tight and harder to play they won't be scoring much in the post season. The only disappointment was McMann who scored 20 goals but couldn't do a damn thing in the playoffs

Sure it would be nice for more ancillary scoring, but based on the group we shouldn't be expecting much. Great scoring from Max, Patches, and Knies should have been enough. An extra 2 or 3 goals from the scrubs down the lineup wasn't winning us the series. Not when 2 games included 6-1 blowouts.

Please go out and find me a team that has won the cup or has made a deep run with 4 guys taking up over half the cap.

Never mind scoring much, none of them scored at all....... If you had 1 goal contributions from your bottom end of ur lineup every series that's a massive difference. 5 forwards and a combined 64 games between them all scored 0 goals. That's the reality.

You don't think an extra goal from one of the bottom end of the forwards in Game 3 when it was 2-0/3-0/or 4-4 in OT means anything? Or a goal from one of them in game 4 when it was 1-0 up until 7 mins left in the third period? You don't think playing with a lead in game 7 when they had two break aways means anything?

I have no problem with booing. It’s pro sports and fans give a lot of their heart to a team and pay a lot of money to watch them play. When they don’t show up in critical games over and over again a little booing is to be expected. Throwing stuff on the ice is not acceptable.

If the home fans are booing their team then what's the advantage of home ice that they fought so hard to get.

They aren't winning until Matthews is off the team. I'm convinced he's the problem in the dressing room and he doesn't respect the team (his 'passengers' comment) and the team clearly doesn't respect him. And he's the captain, too. What kind of a captain says that about his team mates? And we still have what, 4 more years of this guy? Horrible.

How does this make sense? It's likely the system because when other teams dump and chase they always finish their checks on the defenders retrieving the pucks? I get that it's your thing since Dubas and Keefe were canned to just trash Tre and Berube in every thread whether it's a passive aggressive comment or just very blatant and then act like you weren't, but this is reaching a little too much.

The first period was very strange. There were times that the last man back was standing upright with the puck. Rarely see them do that, and they did it multiple times in high risk situations. It was very chaotic.
