Post-Game Talk: End of the Shanascam? | Leafs Blown Out at Home Again

Tre knows what a D-corps look like, so his handling of Rielly in the off-season will be interesting for me. It's clear when you look at this Defence, Morgan is the one dude that looks out of place. It'll be tough to maneuver around this NMC, so a buy-out may be in order here

5th worst GA/GP this playoff... does he?

The start was terrible, but for about ten minutes in the first, they looked decent and kind of took it to FLA. Had a couple of breakaways. Unfortunately, they were by fourth line guys.

If they had gotten a goal or two in that period, maybe the game would have unfolded differently. But they just sucked in the second and never made the type of turn-around they did in the first period. You knew it was over at 3-0, but if they hadn't gotten scored on right after that Domi goal, at least the finish could have been somewhat interesting. Remember Game Seven between St. Louis and Winnipeg.

Losing is one thing, but it really sucks to have family over and have so many pumped up for a game and have little to cheer or get excited about.

it was pointed out that while marner was berating his teammates to wake up, his hair was completely dry and then was on the ice for a giveaway for the next panthers goal immediately after lol. i wasnt watching so i cant confirm. but sounds true.
100% true.

If the opposing coach needs to come out to defend these sorry sacks of overpaid crap...

It sickens me that the entire f***in league rushes to their defense.

I have to agree with Maurice here.

I think the leafs showed some growth this year.

It would be a mistake for you guys to run Mitchy out of town, out of anger and panic.

I know this sounds like insanity, but I'd just run it back.

I take no pride in calling this cores inability to win in the playoffs BEFORE the Columbus series. I still remember how much I was mocked. .It's simple, Brad has to get ownership to agree to the big moves. Buyout Reilly if he doesnt agee to waive. He should have been replaced by Petrioangelo when the opportunity arose, I canvassed on here hard for Dubas to make the right decision. They need character to win, not talent. Give me the personalities akin to a Knies, Lorentz, Patches,.McCabe Tanev, Benoit. I dont need 100 point forwards of 50 point D Men. the team.needs warriors,.players who WANT the pressure. They hate losing, hate being outhustled, refuse to accept being folded, on home ice no less

The crazy thing is marner could have been the king of the city. But he's going out as the most hated. And you just know he's going to score every time he plays us and act all vindicated.

Matthews's passenger comment is really irking me. Because it sounds like there's serious disconnect in the room and he might be part of it. Even if mitch leaves, this disconnect might continue

I’ve been saying this and I’ve been called an idiot. Glad people are catching on. Letting Marner walk is putting a bandaid on the bigger problem, which is probably Matthews. Look at the way this team plays without him, it’s night and day.

With Matthews here I don’t think we find success truthfully.

We need team first guys.
