It shows to me Berube did the best he could.

You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink it. Management refuses to see this core can’t get it done but they trot them out year in and out changing the pieces around.

He makes 7 million for next 5 years

Marner wants almost double per year and plays the least impactful position. Is tiny and of course is a ghost every playoffs.

I thought he might be an interesting add from Chicago when reports came out he was ready to leave. But obviously he had been cooked as a player for years and the risk was pretty high. Tre knows what a D-corps look like, so his handling of Rielly in the off-season will be interesting for me. It's clear when you look at this Defence, Morgan is the one dude that looks out of place. It'll be tough to maneuver around this NMC, so a buy-out may be in order here
