My only wish for this organization this year is to trade Matthews and Marner before they break anymore Leafs records. Matthews especially does not deserve to have the record for most goals for this franchise. He is such a let down. They can trade them all but these 2 have to go. They've tarnished the franchise far more than they should have been allowed to.

Just completely clean house because this core is so psychologically broken they'll just never win here, ever. Spot them a 3-0 series lead and a 4-goal cushion in game 4 and they'd still find a way to lose.

Instead, at the season-ending presser we're going to see a whole lot of nonsense about believing in this group, etc. etc. etc. Shanahan will be replaced, won't make a difference.

Only when this core is completely gone from this city forever will this organization have a chance to move on from the humiliation of this era and maybe build around winners.
