End of Season Media Availability - Management ( 10 PST)

Early Predictions / wishlists Everybody?

What I would LIKE to Hear.
1 - Accountability
2 - Go in depth on exactly wtf was going on with Pettersson and maybe get more clarity on the JT Miller Situation
3 - Poke and see if trading Petey is a realistic scenario
4 - Poke and see if Canucks will trade a top prospect to get better
5 - Specifically ask about if Quinn Hughes timeline is the key to success, and how aggressive they plan to be in the offseason (We have heard this before, they usually are)
6 - GO into more details on the Offseason
7 - Go in depth on Tochett and see exactly what the issue is with him getting signed.
8 - Willander

It was all EP’s fault because he didn’t train properly in the offseason.

This led to a further deterioration in the relationship with Miller which eventually forced mgmt’s hand to trade one.

Coupled with injuries, it was not how the season was expected to go.

That or “it was a tough season”.

My biggest curiosity is if Rutherford is gonna have the balls/accountability and be there, not just allvin.
I mention it like that, because last year Rutherford completely disappeared

I want to know what is happening with Willander personally?

Curious to see their thoughts on Tocchet and Petey, and if their attitude towards re-signing Boeser/Suter has changed. Also would like to see them take real accountability for waiting so long on the defense situation & the Miller situation spiraling out of control, but I doubt it based on previous comments to the media.

I'm sure they'll get asked about their plans re: trades/free agency signings, but I'm expecting them to be vague on that front. We'll get told they want to get faster and that some of the moves they've made are in alignment with that (Chytil, Debrusk, O'Connor, Sherwood), but not expecting any real depth on this front as it's not realistic until they can see what's available.

It's still odd to me that Tocchett isn't with them during this press conference given that management is big on having a unified front office.

Canucks need a series of internal wins because right now there seems to be some bitter overhang on the team.

I think that was him separating himself from Allvin's decision's.
That separation might be needed if he has to make a decision on Allvin.

It must be tough for Rutherford since Allvin has done everything Rutherford stated are bad ideas or team building.
Rutherford did say that a rebuild might be forced on them but not preferred.
The think the FORCE is with them now, they need a new young core, the old one failed and is pretty much decimated now, old, injured, slower, tired and most reaching FA status and wanting to win before their careers are over except for some that have given up.

I sure hope a Hughes trade isn't yet, too early, next year after the draft lottery.
