Rumor: End of an era with Boeser and Canucks. Boeser: "Honestly its unlikely at this point (to re-sign)". Where does he go and for how much?

This is such a self-serving narrative — there are plenty of successful teams with state taxes.

If Vancouver isn’t an attractive UFA destination this summer, I’m guessing it’s more because there is a lot of uncertainty about their core’s future, and good players don’t want to sign on for a rebuild.
Vancouver has had A LOT of smoke around their room too, maybe it's just toxic there and guys want out for no other reason than that.

Edit: Many people can relate to a shit work environment. I'd quite easily take a 20% haircut to leave a toxic work environment for a good one, and that's someone whose effectively just a bit about 'getting by'. There becomes a point where a million dollar haircut seems outrageous to plebs but might make sense for someone that's going to end up making 6+ a year.

Boeser will find a club that will pay him a lot more than his last contract with Van. He’s likely getting 8 mil 7. Imo that’s a big mistake. But it’s July 1. The day of big mistakes.

Probably wants stability as much as anything after being in trade rumors for the last however many years.

To Minnesota for lower dollars, higher term and movement protection.
