Hope Boston signs them. Being saddled with Lindholm and Boeser, combined 15 or 16 million dollars for two players that might not hit 50 goals combined. I rather Canucks pay 8 million for Bennett than a player who is streaky and slow, not even a play driver. This screams Boston to me…
Don’t think ownership wants boeser back. Someone has to be the scapegoat, and this year it’s brock. Its been a long season in Van...I wonder if both sides take a couple of weeks and then gets back to the negotiation table. Brock has openly expressed that he loves the ogranization and he loves the city and it has become home for him....If the Canucks offer is at 4/5 yrs and he wants 7/8 then obviosly a compromise is 6.
I just dont see how Debrusk signed for 5.5 mil AAV for 7 yrs which equals to 38.5 mil. Debrusk leads the Canucks in goals this year over Boeser as well. I get that Boeser scores more goals in general than Debrusk but the difference certainly shouldnt be 5.5 mil from Debrusk to the supposed 8mil AAV that Boeser wants.
I think a fair offer would be around 45mil....whether thats 6yrs 7.5 mil or 5 yrs 8.5 mil.

Yes it was a culmination of things, but boeser is the only one of the above that needs a contract and a pretty big caphit at that. When you have a disappointing season, someone takes the fall.LMAO, theres plenty of reason for this disastrous season, Brocks is at the bottom of that barrel.
1. JT Miller saga
2. Elias Pettersson injury/bad shape
3. Demko injury
4. Q Hughes, Hronek injury
5. Dakota Joshua testicular cancer
I also dont think its ownership that doesnt want Brock. Brock is a fan favorite and sells alot of jerseys and people go to the game for him.
If anything, Its management thats has made a hard stance on what they want to pay him with and they arent willing to budge because they dont feel Brock is a driver of a line, which is perfectly fair.
Sweeney learned his lesson on overpaying ex-CanucksThis screams Boston to me…
He will be under the new cap increasesIm honestly shocked he turned down 8m, hes not an 8m player
Even taking the rising cap into account Boeser has contract expectations that are out of touch with what he’s going to be offered. He should have accepted the 40 mil Van offered; he might have to accept less come July 1.He will be under the new cap increases
Proving that last years 40g was an outlier and not essentially matching production with Debrusk this year really hurt his market value imo.Even taking the rising cap into account Boeser has contract expectations that are out of touch with what he’s going to be offered. A lot of things went wrong, I’m just saying boeser won’t get resigned cause of the dissapoint Canucks season. Not saying he is the reason, he is one of a multitude of reasonsDoubt it, this whole season bombed because of JT Miller's baby mama drama plus his 'leave' for personal reasons when he couldn't shut the f*** up about his emotional shit.

If your entire team's season can be jacked up over some nonsense like that, you don't deserve to go anywhere but home after the regular season. Thing is, I don't buy that. I blane the absolute trash owner.Doubt it, this whole season bombed because of JT Miller's baby mama drama plus his 'leave' for personal reasons when he couldn't shut the f*** up about his emotional shit.
Management hasn’t really been a fan of his since they got here. Even after Brock scored 40 last season Allvin questioned his compete level. He’s not there guy, they want more speed.A lot of things went wrong, I’m just saying boeser won’t get resigned cause of the dissapoint Canucks season. If the UFA class was halfway decent, I'd agree. It's pretty poor though so I can see another team talking themselves into him at that priceEven taking the rising cap into account Boeser has contract expectations that are out of touch with what he’s going to be offered. Was it Brian Burke who said GMs do really stupid things on July 1?If the UFA class was halfway decent, I'd agree. It's pretty poor though so I can see another team talking themselves into him at that price
From the guy who traded two unprotected 1sts for Kessel. Was it Brian Burke who said GMs do really stupid things on July 1?
We will trade you Laine for Boeser's rights
He had a pretty bad concussions this season. Boeser will be back.Proving that last years 40g was an outlier and not essentially matching production with Debrusk this year really hurt his market value imo.
