So I heard Lilleberg and Frederic agreed early to drop the gloves at some point during the game, and Lilleberg would take a different approach than the one against Kastelic. Lilleberg normally uses his strength more with a shorter process, against Frederic he let the fight last much longer in a more passive role. His experience with boxing is why he was great at avoiding Frederic's punches, and a couple that did connect didn't bother him.

Lilleberg hoped to avoid messing up another Bruin, and this time in their barn, then he'd become the biggest hate object for a long time. Bruins and Lightning are division rivals, and there are more games to be played this season. But he knew he had to do this fight, it's the unwritten code among tough guys in this league. And finally...that cross-check on Kastelic wasn't intentional.
