It seems like DD just goes into coast mode half the time on the first line, I don't get the obsession with wanting him to play with Patches. So much better as a middle 6, and Pateryn really needs to be a regular.

He wasn't coasting on that penalty shift. Him and Weise worked hard to keep possession.

When he plays with Max, it seems like his job is to not play actual hockey but just get the puck and pass to Max.

Takes a penalty okay no big deal every player takes them from time to time.

Is rewarded after penalty expirary with a full shift with Fleischman and Eller than Weise and Pacioretty to kill off the 2nd period. WTF?? Twilight zone

Looks like Galchenyuk only played 3+ minutes in the 2nd. I checked the boxscore after the 1st and Galchenyuk was over 6 minutes and he only has 9:34 TOI after 2.

DD was under 5 minutes after the 1st but surprise surprise he's now leading the Habs forwards in TOI at 12:04 and 3:16 PP TOI. The next closest forward to DD for PP TOI is Pacioretty @ 2:33 PP TOI..
