Gonna miss Mikko in a few weeks. Guy was a playoff monster. Necas is a playoff phantom.

I'm starting to warm up to JML on the broadcasts.
Any chance he's sticking with this long-term? Could he become a homegrown McNab type? Dude doesn't really get too critical but is providing some missing insight to the game in the broadcast. Personal opinion only, but I just haven't liked Ryker as much in the booth as I did in the studio.

We've failed many, many playoffs with Mikko as part of the team. How could anyone possibly say this year would only be different because of him?

It's going to be a huge morale boost going into the playoffs with the Captain and a new Head Coach.
0-2 against Dallas, 0-1 against Vegas, all with Mikko. Don't think it matters that much, although I do expect Mikko to score a lot against us. Same with Douchene.

Because Mikko helped the Avs win games and series. I dont think Necas game will translate to playoffs.

Why? Because it would look weird when you change the name plate to Duchesne, Hannan, Matte, Fleury, Reid or Laperrier.
Although an illuminati jersey with Comeau's name on it would be pretty special.

I don't want to really hash into a whole Mikko debate tonight. I'm sure we'll get into plenty of them during the series.
Let's just say, I'm happier with the center depth we've got going into this thing than we would have with Mikko. But I'm starting to believe center depth may only be second to health in the terms of ingrediants for playoffs success.

Im happy with the trade and would do it 10/10 im just saying I have no faith in Necas in the playoffs. Mikko I knew was going to produce in the playoffs even if he slept walk through the regular season. I have more faith in Coyle and Nelson in the playoffs than Necas.We'll see. It's way they play the games.
