Do we need him as bad as we thought? He's a -4 with a measly 2 assists in these playoffs. He's got just 3 goals and 21 points in 62 career playoff games. I love Markov but the guy doesn't bring it in big games too much.
I'm 100% fine letting him walk, unless he wants to accept a cheap contact and come back in a 3rd pairing role.

I'd rather start grooming Beaulieu.

Not sure why people are complaining about the Plekanec penalty since the bruins got penalized on a mirror image of that play in game three or four, forget which

Plekanec is just awful but not as much as desharnais markov vanek and paciorretty if we lose this series its on those guys couldnt show up when it was time.

Still going to go in 7 we will see what happens.

I'll be the first one to admit Plekanec hasn't had a good game so far tonight, but he's been our best forward so far in these playoffs...both him and Vanek have 6 points in 8 games. Markov hasn't been noticeable so far in this series but sometimes that's a good thing with him. Pacioretty and DD definitely need to do something.

If this was a regular season game, I'd change the channel after that period.. Horrible effort by everyone, Boston's playing better than in the first three game, but we're also playing way worse.

Makes no sense? We'd be all over any Bruin who would have crosschecked Price like that. But hey, it's the world where Plekanec can't do no wrong.
Ref has been inconsistent to say the least man. You really going to disagree with me on this? And if you call that, then how does Rask not get called for the punch?

Anyways, it's one of those games. No excuses. But no, that one didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. And I didn't think Plecs warranted a penalty there...

My 3 wishes

-We make passes in the general vicinity of the intended target.
-We take the extra step to the big red line before we dump it in.
-We don't pass the puck to a player deep across the blue line when we're in the neutral zone.

On a side note. the NHL obviously want a game 7. Nothing would be better for NHL then a game 7 between Boston and Montreal. Only makes sense.

Good news is we are only down by one.

Refs are calling more penalties ( not all clearly :shakehead ), so we need a lot more discipline.

First PP needs to be Eller line with Vanek instead of Gio. At least try it. Unscreened point shots are useless and Vanek is too high in the slot. DD screening is dumb.

On the goal replay, Murray is finishing his check just as the puck is entering the net...

Finishing the check....one of the most overrated thing in hockey. Hey, you gave a scoring chance....or you have a 2 on 1....well YES...but I finished my check!!!! :yo:

Murray shouldn't be in this game. That Boston goal was on him. He was beaten to the puck.

Can't believe Plekanec didn't score on that last chance. We just have no puck luck.

Can't even make the Bruins cheerleading subtle? I'm not even sure NESN goes this hardcore in between periods.

Finishing a check only matters on the forecheck, IMO.
