I know its still early in the season, but what a performance he is putting on this year!

After a great rookie season and a terrible second season, it seems he has elevated his game to a whole new level. He plays with energy every shift and seems like he wants to win more than ever. If this keeps up, we could have ourselves quite a team this year!

:handclap:

As a self-admitted "late starter", Grabner looks real good to start this season. Maybe playing in Europe since the fall allowed him to get himself going without floundering hear on the Isles? Either that or with a couple of seasons under his belt now, Grabner has refined his game to be more effective from the get-go. Well, either way keep it up Grabs!

I'm glad for Grabs. Maybe he can end the 'one trick pony' label, that so many have rushed to pin on him.;)

Couldn't help but notice in the stats column, and picked him up in my fantasy team. I could see him displacing Okposo on the top line. The problem is he's so valuable to the PK, that it's unlikely for him to be an integral part of the PP.

Always liked the kid, had a bit of a Pavel Bure vibe with the blazing acceleration. Wish it had worked out for him in Vancity but glad he's having success over there.

I don't see that happening, Grabner is at LW not RW. I could see boyes being on the top line though.

I agree. Besides, the first line plays a completely different style than Fransie's line. The top line goes in deep and cycle whereas Fransie's line plays more of a trap-counterattack style. Grabner makes much more sense on Fransie's line.

Last time Graber played awesome we went on a big time second half winning streak. Having Grab and JT has a dual scoring threat makes us dangerous.

I thought he's been great so far this season, probably the the best player IMO besides a lack-luster 1st period vs. the Devils, but every time I watch him play, it just makes me laugh how he'll creep across the blue line and wait for a breakaway. At least he's still got the confidence to make such moves.

If there's one thing this team simply cannot part with are young guys with speed and the ability to score...Players like that are few and far between in our organization.

Grabs can and has played either wing. He is better suited to pairing with Frans than JT as the Frans line s more of a defense-transition line on the rush where JT/MM try to possess the puck on the cycle.

Thats what I was thinking too. Really JT can play with anyone but on the JT line he wouldn't be able to utilize his speed as much. With Neilsen he plays good D and is available for that long outlet pass breakaway.

So you have 2 players on 2 different lines being offensive catalysts and leading 2 productive lines.... then you want to put them together and switch what side of the ice one plays on?
