Seabrook was one of the better #2Dmen of the post-cap era. His play fell off a cliff following the 2015 Cup but before then he was awesome. Not sure I've seen that same level of play in Eklund the last couple of years

Seabrook but I'll say Ekblad has adapted his game over time to remain much better and more relevant than I thought he would considering how immobile he is. 24+ minutes a night and scoring at a good clip on potential back-to-back Cup winners is not nothing. I think that's partly Florida's system but can't deny the results.

The post-30 year-old Seabrook decline off a cliff remains the warning story to anybody signing Ekblad to a 7-year deal this off-season though.

I voted Seabrook and thought AINEC you idiot!! but then I realized I misread and thought it was Ekholm not Ekblad.

This is much closer and I’m not sure. Peak Seebs was pretty clutch.

Since 2005, we have Weber-Suter and Pronger-Niedermayer. Both are obvious 1-1 situations, but Seabrook might be next best after that.

Seabrook of course

I think whatever team gives Ekblad a big $ longterm deal will end up with same regrets Hawks did

At least in Hawks defense they were doing it out of loyalty and his role with Hawks and cup wins blinded them to what was already obvious decline
