a suspension is still a suspension, He just returned from one, he should have known to not to play like a Neanderthal.
Like the guys already said, the NHL treats PED violations separately from on-ice infractions when determining a player's "repeat offender" status. So no, his PED suspension has nothing to do with this incident.
