Ekblad elbow to the head of Jackson Blake

Everyone sees that giant hook on Svech's hands right? The one that throws him off balance? I know it's hard to see since the refs didn't notice. Doesn't even look like Svech is in the crease. But sure thats comparable to the player repeatedly throwing elbows.

How does the hook make him extend his leg to make contact with Bob? If the hook was that strong, it would have pulled Svechnikov more away from the crease.

Just performing my own whataboutism on "missed calls" that overwhelming favors Florida this entire playoffs. At this point I don't think Florida fans can objectively review calls. You are witnessing a different game than most. Not trying to flame. It's the leagues fault.

that post was as big of a stretch as svech had to do with his leg to make contact with Bob.
This is what his 2nd elbow after he got suspended for elbowing Hagel in the first round ? Easy 4 games, repeat offender who literally elbowed an opponent in the head in 3 straight playoff rounds in the same year.

Panthers literally play with their own rulebook, it's wild.
you lose any and all credibility when you complain about a play where ekblad is clearly trying to catch a puck out of mid-air

Until someone ends up being carted off in a stretcher, then the league will condemn it strongly and wonder how such an outrageous act could've happened in the game they love.
Stolarz already had to have medical attention and out the rest of series because another accidental elbow to the head by a panther. It is a pattern by the rats and the nhl has shown they are okay with time and time again.

Seems a little pie in the sky to expect the Department of Player Safety to actually watch the games. And then to administer appropriate discipline to preserve player's playing careers? They'd probably have to type up a report and everything, or at least ask some intern to and read it over.

Like it's nearly June for christ sake, I'm sure George has got a boat and a lake calling his name. Give the guy a break.

Sadly it's going to take something with much worse optics than Stolarz. The kind of thing that gets talked about places that otherwise never mention hockey.

Then the league will pretend it gives a shit.

Incredibly dirty

Blake literally drives his face into defenseless Ekblad's forearm.

Hope Jackson sits a few for potentially harming Pedblad's arm.

Reverse angle makes it look completely intentional. Ekblad is getting too comfortable throwing elbows.
Of course he is comfortable the nhl has given the panthers the green light since round 1. Stolarz was knocked out of a series by another serial people's elbow to tp the head repeat offender and nothing was done .
