EJ traded back to Colorado

That's the thing that got me caught with this bug. It's too damn cold to have an adaquate garage for a shade tree mechanic.

I've missed tinking with timing belts, spark gaps, distributors and carbeurators. If I can keep a 2 foot by 2 foot section of my desk clean... I can completely do this and get my fix for tinking with gears, figuring out the best lubricating oils to use for different components etc....

Also, I don't buy Rolexes... I buy old Tissots, pocket watches and and whatever vintage cheap mechanicals I can find from the 60s. I tend to like that mid-century modern, optimistic art-deco of the future that plays into so much of that era.

Well I'll consult you if I ever decide to make the dive. If you ever want to come down and have some track time, drink beer and eat beef you're welcome.

Say what you will about his ability but you can guarantee he's putting his body on the line every second he's on the ice. What a sight it's going to be.
He's washed, but he's better than Middleton and that's all there is to it. His interview with the journalists today was such a breath of fresh air. He's a Hall of Famer for me.

Maybe Makar can work with Malinski, Johnson and someone like Jan Rutta (at 1.0 M) next season for a cheap RD crew. Meaning Manson and a disappointning forward (hope not) can be traded so we can prolong Nelson etc.

And hop that one of Behrens and Gulyaev can step in at LC. Trade the other (the last one to show NHL promise).
God I love EJ. He epitomizes what it means to be a true AV.
I love God and my wife more but EJ comes in at a close third.

What’s the deal with Poolman? Is he ever returning? Where does he slot on the RD depth chart?

EJ's tenure with the Sabres just shows you how idiotic that organization is. I don't remember him EVER playing the left side in Colorado, and yet they had him there because they also had Connor Clifton on the roster. And then of course they proceeded to overload on lefties.

EJ ain’t no HOFer but I will not be surprised if they hang the number 6 in the rafters someday.
With him coming back and our core getting a second Cup and all, I'm actually really cool with him getting his number retired. Honestly, screw it... everyone that was around for both cups get their number retired.

Mikko, sadly, probably won't have his number retired now.

Mack, EJ, Landy, and Makar for sure. Maybe Toews and Lehky (if he finishes his career here).

Watched that show with Meghan and Chloe on Guerilla Sports, and they had Rahcel Tos on with them (good insight into her career and how she got to the Avs), and they questioned whether the crowd would cheer or boo Mikko on Sunday. Probably both. Lots of Fans are pissed at how he's handled this whole thing, and ended up signing with a division rival over less than $300k per year difference than what Colorado reportedly offered.

Oh, Mikko is 100% getting the boo birds the rest of his career as a Dallas Star. To the fans he's likely in Matt Duchene territory now. They will obviously cheer him for the video that gets played but after that he's going to get booed heavily.
