Outside of Söderberg, Omark and Erik Gustafsson also declined. I thought Omark and Erik had decided to never play with Tre Kronor again. Garpenlöv said he was expecting them for upcoming tournaments.

Now im just waiting on Joakim Lindström and Oscar Möller to come back.

Im pretty sure he will be on the Channel One Cup team next month. Our rosters in Channel One Cup are often younger.

I like the EHT; seems like it's a neat little round robin tournament that highlights some of the 'bigger' names in the respective domestic leagues.

Wish I could view some of the games though being from the US though

Anyways the way Omark looked so far in SHL i dont want him on the team. If he gets back on track then i guess he will bring something. Could be nice to have him on WCH, he always produce against smaller nations. I dont think we would have lost to Denmark and Belarus if veterans like Gustafsson, Omark, Lindström and Möller where on the team (as a line even).

Its good to test as many players as possible. Half of those guys are going to decline invitation at spring anyway.

I'm obviously a bias fan but I love this time... Chlapik, Kase, Spacek, Jasek and Blumel are some of my fav young fringe NHL guys. I was really enjoy Smejkal as well.

Our D is good (for us).. happy to see Masin back after getting cut at last minute. Klok might be our most successful dman in Europe right now. Jiricek is looking to be top 10 right now but is very young.

The goalies, to me, look a little below our usual standard but I could be wrong.

I don't think we win it or anything but I am excited to see the team!

I like the Finnish roster. Seems like most of the top players in Europe are interested in aiming to the WC22 at home soil. I think i'll be watching all the games first time since a while.

Finland update: Granlund, Manninen, Kemppainen out, Tallberg, Ruohomaa and Innala are in.

Wes stil wont see those guys at national team. Granlund and Manninen are excluded due covid-reasons in Ufa, Kemppainen is injured. I don´t even remember when was the last time Kemppainen represented Finland at any stage.

No Klok or Gulas for Czechs. Gulas might be a blessing as I think they are thinking he is a best on best Olympian. Klok should be in contention since our NHL D is floudering badly. Shame he isn't going.
