Krebs and Jokiharu for a non extended Ehlers.
What other reasonable add from Buffalo is needed?

A first round draft pick.Krebs and Jokiharu for a non extended Ehlers.

Don't think this one is going to entice the Jets too much.Krebs and Jokiharu for a non extended Ehlers.

I'd say take out Krebs and add something better than either one of them.Krebs and Jokiharu for a non extended Ehlers.

Sabres definitely need a top 6 winger now. Kulich is not ready for that.Sabres don’t need him. They have similar young players that they have to pay in a year like Quinn and Peterka. Plus they want Kulich to make the jump soon.
The Sabres just re-signed Joker, I doubt the Sabres FO considers him available. I don't think Krebs has half the value Sabres fans hope he does.Krebs and Jokiharu for a non extended Ehlers.

Benson belongs on the 3rd lineBenson,Quinn,Peterka,Tuch..

Why is that? You have Zucker and Greenway.Benson needs to play with more offensive players to bring out his high offensive potential and elevates the other two players on that lineBenson belongs on the 3rd line
Benson was 18 playing in the NHL last year so to say he's a 3rd liner is disingenuous, could he be there this year yes but to think he can't build off a 30 point season at 18 is ridiculous.Benson belongs on the 3rd line
A bust and an overpaid bottom pairing defenseman on a one year contract, wow where do we sign?Krebs and Jokiharu for a non extended Ehlers.

I imagine it's all digital now.A bust and an overpaid bottom pairing defenseman on a one year contract, wow where do we sign?
I believe a realistic expectation for an unextended Ehlers would be:
A) 2025 1st round pick
+
B) Krebs or Jokiharju
+
C) a lesser prospect like Kisakov, Poltapov, or a 2nd round pick.
I agree to an extent but at the same time their prospect pool is very solid. That kind of return makes sense from a team that’s confident they’re making the playoffs. Buffalo’s 1st really shouldn’t be on the table unless we’re getting a player with term.
As a jets fan, unless that 1st is high not great, neither kebs or joker impress me much.I believe a realistic expectation for an unextended Ehlers would be:

I've had the pleasure of watching both of those guys on the same team last season. For a 6 mill rental winger?
Think more in line with the Tyler Toffoli price last offseason
Toffoli in 22-23: 34 goals and 73 points.I've had the pleasure of watching both of those guys on the same team last season.
Ehlers >>>> Toffoli, there's a reason he's been a journeyman 30 goal scorer
Again, I've had the pleasure of watching both of those guys on the same team last season.Toffoli in 22-23: 34 goals and 73 points.
Ehlers has career highs of 29 goals and 64 points.
And also makes 33% more money than toffoli did.
Yep, and he makes 1.5 mill more to offset that. Lower your expectations on what a 60 point rental winger making 6 mill returnsAgain, I've had the pleasure of watching both of those guys on the same team last season.
To me (and I imagine Chevaldayoff) Ehlers >>> Toffoli, despite what your hockeydb scouting says
