I'm not convinced that many Golden Knights fans truly exist. Almost all of their fan base fits into one of these three camps IMO:

- Local Vegas crowd that like the lights and the cool intro and the fact that the team is good, but don't really understand or care. Something fun to go to, Knights have always been good, known as a fun evening out.

- Casino/Hotel guests that get comped tickets and are handed a jersey

- Bandwagoners - children that hopped on the wagon of the cool new team that went to the final and intellectually deficient 30+ year olds that did the same (as an aside, I think the adults that hopped on the expansion team bandwagon are pathetic).

The number of folks that care enough to participate in message boards and follow the day to day of the team in all respects is probably very low.

Gary’s Golden Girls getting sucked dry again by the league office. Ever since that blown call vs the Sharks it’s been ridiculous and they’ve magically become the lowest penalized team 3 years running yet run the most interference.

They are the leagues shining light to lure insane expansion money and with Seattle being mismanaged into the ground by Francis (who could have predicted that) Gary needs Vegas to keep his expansion pyramid scheme going and keep artificially inflating franchise values amid ever growing expansion revenue.

Vegas went from fan darlings to most hated team across the league because of their favourable treatment by the league. In fact outside of the Leafs who only retain that moniker because their fan base is insufferable along with the 24-7 media coverage, Vegas is simply despised by fans around the league because they represent the blatant corruption Gary has built into his clown show of a league.

Pleasantly surprised by 91-93-18 but I do not care for 21-19-23. Not sure what to do there, do you drop Drai down and elevate Brown or Arvidsson? Bring in J. Skinner?

I expect them to run it back, but they were very fortunate to get out of Vegas not tied up and i think they need a reset.

Big issue is how incredibly well lines 2 through 4 have played. Imo knocking Drai or Perry down messes that up a fair bit.

I think the easy solution is just giving Podz and/or RV more shifts next to McDrai, so they have a more speed (and defensive presence) on their line.

Imo Podz is the correct answer, as he's better at doing the little things which let McDrai work their magic. While RV is far more effective driving his own line and doing his own thing, vs. trying to read off of Leon and Connor.

They've already shown that they are lethal together the moment they get away from the Eichel line. I am very interested in seeing how the coaching matchups are going to look tonight.

My guess is that Vegas does everything humanly possible to get Eichel on the ice when McDavid and Draisaitl are out, because it's almost an auto goal otherwise. Last change is a massive, massive benefit in this series but something that hasn't been talked about much.

I honestly think this could end in 4 for the sole reason that Edmonton has last change and the only line that can stop Draisaitl and McDavid together is the Eichel line. You do not split them up at home. No chance.

Nobody there really GAF about the team. They were the interesting hot new commodity there for 3-4 years and now that they’ve won a cup, interest is rapidly fading. Vegas is Raiders country.
