What bothers me is that we've played poorly for three straight games. What's the common thread there? Chuck's misusage. Now rather than fixing it, MT doubles down and makes it worse.

MT likes to "send messages" to players but the message he should send is one of confidence, not demoting guys when they make mistakes. Drives me crazy that we struggle to get to 20 shots a game and Chuck gets like 15 mins a game... all this does is kill the guy's confidence.

The guy was out for 6-8 weeks. It might just be rusty legs. I don't get why he's being jerked around so much when he was scoring at a PPG pace before his injury. With his season last year + this year you'd think he'd get the benefit of the doubt but nope. It's clear favoritism. DD has been useless for years.

COME ON guys! What a bunch of haters. You expect the team to win every game and go 82-0?? Every team loses games, even the best ones.

The goalies are terrible and we have terrible luck and soooo many injuries, not sure what you expect!

As far as the favoritism goes, the players see this as well. I wonder how much it affects the "team".

Price should be able to steal games, he hasn't.

Galchenyuk should be used properly, he hasn't.

Subban should have never been traded, he was.

DD skates up the ice, proceeds to backhand the puck into the Oilers d-man's leg and then retreats back... ok...

Some guys are coach faves and others aren't. You'd think he'd want the guy to get some confidence back, esp considering how good he was before the injury. MT doesn't trust him in any kind of situation ever, so he doesn't improve defensively.

To me, his handling of Chuck last year was a fireable offense. Esp at the end when he lit it up after being under used the whole season. And here we go again... Can't buy a goal these days and we limit Chuck's minutes. Brutal.

And we play against McDavid, arguably the best player in the world. Being tied 0-0 so far is like a win!
