lmao at some of these posts regarding the return of Stoll. You guys are tooo funny! Anyway, as always with the Kings, it's a true adventure wondering just which team will show up for the game. Hope it's the one that remembers the idea is to win.

It's amazing how bad this Oilers team is. All those draft picks over the years and they've made zero progress. They're the poster child for why teams shouldn't be rewarded for being terrible.

They've used 8 different goaltenders in the past 3 seasons lol. Reminds me of the Kings of old.

I am really glad those days are over.

Sutter is making the right decision sitting Richards in favor of Shore.

If I were him, I would consider sitting Stoll for Andreoff. At least we know Andreoff can snipe (no, I am not talking about that half-fan for his first goal...I am talking about the post-rip the game before).

I wonder if they've considered using Lewis as a center. It's his original position.

Granted, he doesn't have great hands, vision, or playmaking ability. But he's better than Stoll offensively at this point, and he's better than Richards defensively. Trevor's face off ability could be a concern.

Amazingly, only 6 forwards on the team have more points than Lewis. He's also +11, 3rd best on the team.

So is Trevor getting better or is everyone else getting worse?

I'm starting to worry that even if the Kings miraculously make the playoffs it isn't even going to matter all that much.... Nothing says another Cup like... maybe Lewis is the 3C we've been looking for.

Sometimes I feel like the biggest Kings homer on this board but I don't see how anyone can disagree with this statement.

Not that I would revoke their playoff berth if they did get in even if they lost tonight... but yeah, I agree. Tonight's game is all about how badly they want to be golfing in 10 days, because the last two games looked like they were quite content with 2 Cups in 3 years and ready to pack it in.

They still won 3 out of 5 games on a very tough road trip.

I fully expect the Kings to be in the playoffs.

If the Kings miss the playoffs, they will have deserved it, because they have given away so many points over the course of the season. If they lose tonight though, they can still make the playoffs. It'll just make it that much more difficult to do if they should lose. And it'll be very irritating, because there's no reason for them to lose tonight.

I agree The last two losses were to a crazy hot team that we mostly outplayed and our absolute nemesis on the road 5 games in 9 nights of whatever it was. Not that excuses are good but at least there was that. Tonight they are at home vs a bottom standings team fighting for their playoff lives. If they lose tonight it's over. Not because it is mathematically, but because there is literally no reason for giving up an L tonight: it's a should win game with just about everything on the line at home

With respect to the oilers who have been playing well.

It's a little early, but I'm breaking out the playoff purple socks.

Can't leave anything to chance.

Gotta cover all the bases!

I enjoyed the Oilers' GDT Pokemon versions of Sutter, Carter, Brown, etc. I thought the the pics and descriptions were

I wish their management was 1% as smart as their fanbase.
