If theres anyone that can do photoshop with the posters name on an oilers jersey or do a good/witty summery on the draftee, I'd favor them doing the picking as its not my thing

The Hurricanes are awful, and never make the playoffs, so our board (silly billies that we are) started years ago holding our own private draft to select what teams we would cheer for in the playoffs, so we could at least have something of a vested interest in them and an additional reason to watch.
Starting last year though, we upped the ante so to speak, and instead of us picking who we'd cheer for, we'd let the actual playoff teams pick and choose who they wanted. Made it a bit more fun, and let the teams know we were doing it, rather than us just showing up unannounced on their respective boards

Ha ha, you guys are awesome. That would never work on Hfoil. We're way too bitter at the end of the season when the Oilers are terrible. That and focused on who we are going to run out of town and the draft.

I'm unfamiliar with them but the couple of songs I listened to on YouTube seemed decent.
My apologies for starting an argument over country music. I must admit I'm a bit out of my element there. Usually on the canes board we fight about food and which goalie should start the next game. I'll just say that there's plenty of good county music out there. If you don't like it, you don't like it, but if you only listen to the bro/pop country that gets on the radio you're doing yourself a disservice.

Nah, you didn't start anything. I'm just vocal about not liking country music, lol. I've picked pretty much the worst place in Canada to live if I wanted to stay away from country, haha. I would agree that the "bro/pop" country music is the greater of two evils though!

Do what I did - I went to the Carolina badnwagon thread. Didn't find anything there. Went to the CBJ forum, found that they don't have much active, looked at their stickied OT thread, and found the discussion there.
