I’ll speak for Jeff Skinner with the NMC, f*** no.

Also, the Oilers would have zero interest in attaching assets to get rid of one underperforming winger just to waste that cap space on another bad winger in Hall.

Chicago’s not your dumping ground. Move along now. Not enough meat on the bone to accept this nonsense. Good luck elsewhere.

How about we do Jeff Skinner + 3rd for a 6th or 7th round pick?

Providing Skinner waives which I think is unlikely. We really don't need current Taylor Hall even at 3m. Hall has more trade value to a team with more cap flexibility and a different set of needs. We just had Arvidsson return and Kane is going to come back at some point. We really don't need a winger. We need a 2nd pairing RD.

If the deal the OP posted happened for the record I wouldn't be upset with it. I just don't think we'd get 50% retention on Hall and dump Jeff Skinner without it being a 2nd + prospect and I wouldn't do that.

This will be the 278th TDL that I will be saying 'we should trade for Hall'. I'd welcome him with open arms for a playoff run!
