I totally missed that Canes had a game last night. I had adjusted to this normal a-game-per-month schedule. At least it has felt like that. Pleasant surprise.

Was there a specific play where TT got hurt? It's a shame since he looked the best I've seen him this season before getting hurt.

Good to see most everyone on the scoreboard last night. Hopefully KK and Jarvis join the ranks soon. They looked good in the 1st, but after TT's injury and the lines got jumbled, the line didn't look good with Noesen on their line.

Pyotr sure is fun to watch. Glad he got the win.

If Teravainen can’t go tomorrow against Denver, do you move Stastny up in the top 6?

Yikes

Just put Svech-Aho-Necas together and keep Martinook-Staal-Fast as the defensive / checking line. Mix and match players with KK and Jarvis to see what works best. Svech, Necas and Aho have been carrying the team.

That line (KK-Jarvis) struggled with Noesen on it last night. Stastny (or Drury?) might be a better option. Unless/until KK and Jarvis start producing though, I'm not sure how much it matters.

Defense needs to shore up though as we are giving up way too many break-aways/odd man rushes.

Drury is playing the most sheltered minutes. I don’t see how he goes from 11 minutes of protection to top 6 all of a sudden.

am i completely off my rocker thinking they could call up dzingleberry to play in turbo's slot?

i'm basing that entirely on a vague memory that when things didn't work out for him on his last tour it was because he wasn't a fit for the role he was playing. he's a guy that needs to be on a top 6 scoring line with linemates that can do the heavy lifting to succeed, right? if i'm remembering that correctly he could be a decent short term band aid, maybe?

keep stastny and drury and noesen (oh my) in the bottom 6 where they are more effective. just don't use dzinger for turbo's pk time.

He has 1 assist in Chicago. Could they? Sure as they wouldn’t mind wasting him for 8 minutes a night over Rees. MacEachern would probably be the call up if he wasn’t injured. It’ll probably be Stromwall or Dzingel

I think if you load up that top line with the only 3 guys that are consistently scoring, there’s no scoring threat on the other lines. I’d put Svechnikov with Aho and Necas with Kotkaniemi, then mix and match from there personally.

They need to get someone else going regardless, and with TT out, the only other somebody with a record of production is Stastny. My guess is that we get to see top 6 Martinook again, with Stastny taking Martinook’s spot on the Staal line.

Was thinking about Stromwall last night. He’s got speed and a wicked shot, makes sense as the next call up, if there is one.

Martinook has been heating up but I wonder if they leave that chemistry alone and elevate Stepan or even Noesen. Noesen has had some success on the power play and maybe could translate that? I don't know there's not really a great option. Its a bummer about turbo he had 2 assists before leaving the game

Rod only ever leaves one line alone and thats Staal so maybe 1st line Nookie is dead!

"Hat picks demonetized".....what does that even mean?

Every week he, through SportsNet, puts out 2 videos. Hat Picks and Dang Its. First is for plays of the week, second is for f*** ups of the week. Both are actually entertaining to watch

YouTube will demonetize videos for adult content, meaning the publisher gets no ad revenue for views. For example, when Dang Its railed on Lemieux biting Tkachuk last year, YouTube demonetized it because of the replay of the actual bite in question.

Those are easily twice the length they need to be. He needs to take notes from the “C’mon Man!” format. Show the replay 2-3 times, you 10 seconds to say something funny, move on.
