Not that Forsberg is a huge loss but the NHL is a bush league in everything they do. I love the sport but seriously the high ups need a brain transplant

This. All you see is these NHL affiliated commercials telling us to to take COVID more seriously yet we've got 3rd and 4th string goalies bouncing around North America. All because the canes put a BS claim on Forsberg and Crawford decides he doesn't wanna play hockey any more a day into his contract. Kind of unfair for the players and organizations who are paying for the incompetence of others.

Backup to start while Smith is on LTIR, but then I assume they'll keep him on the roster as the #3 after that.

Detroit had an amazing team in front of those goalies, but his ability to find diamonds in the rough is noted.

Backup but with Kosk having 2 sketchy games out of 3 he could be our #1 soon....
