They were terrible on the goal I’m referencing in nearly every respect. The extra man wasn’t a factor.

Pretty sure not having a goalie in the net is a factor in the goal against you are stat counting. I mean, I know our goalies are iffy but still...

I’m not saying they are a great pairing. But, honestly it’s too early to tell. The team has been a walking corpse for most of the time Walman has been here.

We got him with 250 career NHL games, and 1 playoff game 4 years ago where he played 15 minutes.

And we need him to be a super reliable D on his off-side for 4 rounds.

I guess, it's less of risk than hoping all of klingberg, stetcher and Emberson can be as good as Walman just is, so it's a good bet.

Yeah, doing nothing was more risky for sure. We are used to going into every playoffs with total question marks about our top 4 I suppose. I still consider it a big risk every time, since we are wasting generational careers and all.

I mean the other option was giving up, so probably best they didn't do that.

The injuries are tough, but Ceci has a ton of playoff experience and was f***ing garbage, so it will be fine

Like, 4 of the other top 5 defenseman have a ton of playoff experience and have played at high levels during it, they will be more than fine.
