Depending on what we gave up, I love this move. Maroon is what we need and his point totals from the last couple of years suggest he can chip in at a decent clip.

All joking aside, this is an excellent pick up. Having a bit of a down year but he's pretty much another Kassian. Great puck protection and can blend in on a bottom 6 or top 6 line.
I'm sure Maroon isn't too happy about the move though.

He and Kassian being acquired really shows we have abandoned the asinine "character" principle that Lowe and Tamby instituted. It proves to me Lowe has been sidelined.

Marroon is exactly the type of player this team needs.
