Remember when Mike Brown was having a big impact for the Sharks in the playoffs in 2014? How'd that work out again? The Kings got their retribution last night too.
Doughty wasn't hurt and even scored the goal on the PP.
It's a known fact that injury plays a factor in whether or not a player is suspended.

We're just lucky that Cliffy did not get suspended by hurting Hedman with his head. Could have been a 3 gamer.

Such garbage that Hedman stuff. I know I'm in the minority here but I hate both the Florida teams. Bolland, Bergenheim, Hedman... not to mention Thornton.

From what I read the league felt it was "unintentional". They pretty much ignored how after Cliffy got him with a clean hit earlier, Hedman tracked him down later to get the dirty elbow.

Also, Hertl wrecked Brown right in the face off a faceoff...but both of those plays were just strong pest plays because "Dustin Brown" and "Jarret Stoll." Which is plenty good reason until next time someone touches a Shark, then it's we're the damn dirty Kings again.
The league's official stance was literally "He didn't mean to." I swear to God.

I disagree on this. Lucic rope a doped him. Slight slash to the leg to took his attention below and he followed it with a punch to the face. Brilliant if you ask me. I agree with the suspension and the reason for Lucic doing it. I love it.
