Unfortunately they are real. Reddit is a site explicitly designed to encourage herd behavior as part of a wider overall consensus manufacturing apparatus, almost like a science experiment. If you think I'm crazy, look at who some of the original VC backers of the site were and which of them have been in high profile court cases that shocked the world in the last few years.

Exactly, you get it — because where we come from, people got respect. Real fans, true fans, they know the difference between tough competition and just being plain nasty. Around here, folks cheer for a great play, not when a guy’s getting carted off the ice. That’s not winning, that’s being a loser in every sense.


It’s crazy, folks, absolutely nuts — but Toronto? Apparently, they missed the memo. Or maybe they just don’t care. Could be both. But you’re right — around here? We don’t play that game. We stand up, we clap for grit, for toughness, not for injuries. That’s what real fans do. That's what winners do.


Toronto should take notes. Maybe grow up a little. Stop being losers. Sad!
