I haven't seen a playoff OT game end on a wraparound since 1997.

My favorite thing about the Leafs right now is I can take as many shots at their goalies as I want and no one really defends them, because it's one thing I think a lot of their fans would agree on right about now.

Dubas has been a JOKE when it comes to goalie acquisitions. First a 3 year deal for Mrazek? Really? Based on like 12 hot games the year before? Okay.

And then acquires a contract that was probably going to be bought out AND from a division rival? Really?

Leafs window is closing fast too. This year Nylander gone to free agency. Tavares isn't getting any younger and Matthew after next year could walk to Arizona. On top of that their prospect pool is trash.

Nylander has 1 more year on his contract.

Crazy how the series went. Genuinely think the Leafs have the skill to win 4 in a row but this is basically over... they don't have the willingness to apply that skill properly. All they seem to do is look for break out 2 on 1s or cheap perimeter garbage. There is almost no willingness to go into the net front and create chaos or score trash goals, which is what the playoffs require.

Ridiculous how fragile the team is mentally. They have spurts of domination and zero finish, then you can just watch them slowly unravel as the momentum shifts. Seems they take solace in the fact they can get runs of 10-1 shots in their favour but if you don't score any goals it doesn't mean shit. The EDM game was basically the opposite, if you dominate large chunks of a period you need to score 3-4 goals and stomp the other team out.

Seems when you play the Leafs, if you can just hang around and survive the push, they will get frustrated, makes mistakes, then collapse. Laughably poor defense in OT. I'm sure you'd like Woll to track the puck better but absolutely can't allow players to fly out into the crease like that with no stick or body anywhere nearby.

Spending so much of your salary cap on 4 forwards isn't the way to best build a team.

Leafs were able to add ROR, Lafferty and Acciari for pretty much nothing .

This is more on the coach than GM who gave the coaches plenty of bullets.

Without ROR , Leafs would likely not have made it past TB

I think you explore trade options for nylander. Try to bring in a better fit up front.

Keep matthews and marner but build 2 different lines around them

I think Marner needs to go if we break up the core. At least Nylander is making things happen. Marner is a giveaway machine and has been making the same mistakes for 7 years.
