What might've been if Stolarz didn't get injured. First time in many years the Leafs had a goalie that looked really good and he gets knocked out in the 1st game and then goaltending became somewhat of a question mark again as to whether Woll could step up or not. So far he's been both good and bad, but with Stolarz in net, who knows if things might not be quite different right now.

Matthews must be the most useless star player in the playoffs I’ve ever seen. Legit might be the worst of all time. Complete and total non factor every second he’s on the ice other than some decent defensive plays.
I said this is other threads past bunch of days, but AM is a total cherry picker kind of scorer. He's not a guy like McD or MacKinnon zooming around and sometimes single handedly going end to end scoring.

If AM doesnt get sweet passing set ups from teammates or a scrum in front of the net and he jumps in and shoots in a juicy rebound from 10 ft out, he does absolutely nothing since he doesnt do anything else in the game like create, assist, crash and bang etc...

He waits for opportunistic goals (passes and rebounds). If they dont come, he's invisible all game waiting along the boards for something to happen. He could try something else like stand in front of the net trying for garbage goals and deflections like JT but thats not his game as he's a shooter. Not a guy who wants to be bumped around by dmen in front of the net.

Between Willy, Marner and Matthews you’d think in a game 7 you could count on one of them to score

Instead I find myself wanting double shifts from patches and domi

They rolled a tandem all year. Woll was solid, and never a question mark. quit this shit
