That isn't to say the Leafs' fate is entirely on Woll because it isn't, but I am not convinced he or Stolarz can steal games when it matters. They benefit mightily from playing in front of a very good defensive team and system.

Overall, Marner and Matthews have had decent play-off production. You have to look at the GM who has failed to provide a strong supporting cast.

They had a great regular season

They confidently won round 1

They went to game 7 in round 2 vs defending champs

Leafs are alright
