Who is not getting resigned and/or traded Matthews, Marner, and/or Tavares? This core has the ultimate loser mentality and doesn't seem to want to win a cup. They fade away when times get tough year after year.

None, or at most 1, should come back. Losing Marner for nothing is hilarious, but he shouldn't be re-signed. Matthews should be traded for a haul if they can. Tavares shouldn't be re-signed.

Up to them if they want to trade Matthews for players, or picks. As a fan of a Team not named the Leafs, I say go with picks. Sit at the bottom of the Atlantic for a few years so some other teams can try making it past the second round.
