Monday was supposed to be for game seven. Ergo, the West had to start on Wednesday. Maybe there's a Bruce Springsteen concert in Dallas tomorrow night.Just NHL things...whoever wins this game gets less the 2 days rest until the ECF. Meanwhile the west is set and won't start until Wednesday lmao
You said this Leafs team was different. How is it a choke in that case?
Kypreos thinks he won the Stanley Cup.He'll get a shutout and the usual clichés will ensue. Nick Kypreos will say he played like a champion
Nylander knows he has to take the subway home after the game. Now that's pressure.Home crowd will be too much pressure for the Leafs.
More said they are not. Do you think if they win people will admit they are different? I suspect as soon as they lose the narrative will come out they aren't
I just can't keep track because you vacillate between the two extremes so wildly.
If they win they get swept in the next round. So it's the same wet noodle as alwaysMore said they are not. Do you think if they win people will admit they are different? I suspect as soon as they lose the narrative will come out they aren't
You’re a real fan bro I will give you that any day of the weekWelcome to being a Leafs fan lmao
How is just makikng it to the conference final the furtheest they've ever gotten in you life?I’m 43 years old
If the Leafs win tonight, it’s as far as they’ve ever gotten in my entire life time.
40 years cheering for this team. Win the f***ing game

The Leafs have been to the conference finals four times in your lifetime and made it to game 7 in 1993, game 5 in 1994 and 1999, and game 6 in 2002. So, for it to the furtheest they've even gone in your life, they'd have to win the ECF and make it to the finals.
I just can't keep track because you vacillate between the two extremes so wildly.
I'm pretty sure I was the one saying it wasn't over yet as you were throwing yourself off the ledge again. I guess that means I believe more in the Leafs than you do.
Either the Leafs ARE different and a solid opponent and therefore it isn't a choke to lose to them.
Or the Leafs are the same and were lucky to get past the Panthers because the Panthers choked.
Ah, see, I determine how far a team goes as to how many games they go in their last series. So, since they've been to a game 7 in a conference final, they would need to win the ECF to go further. The ECF is the furthest they’ve made it in my life.
I’m not sure how that’s confused you. Say it back, slower if it helps

So I have to ask if you're a Leafs fan and aren't all in on cheering for them and believing they can win tonight, what the hell good you as a fan? A rating point, maybe? Doesn't seem to much value there.
That, my dude, is called "art".Marner should avoid the spinny backhand breakout pass in this one
So if the leafs win it's era defining? Remember the last time they proved they are not chokers? The Tampa win? Remember what happened after that?
I mean it would be a good start, but I'd view it as a bandaid to a gaping deep wound.

Still, this game feels like a coin flip. Maybe the laffs are more mentally prepared this time around![]()
So what you're saying is, they're the type that get so tensed up with emotion if they think a baby bunny is super cute they'll hug and squeeze it so hard its head pops off. They won't no-show.
They care. The problem is that sometimes they care too much or don't know how to channel their emotion and will to win constructively. They are afraid to lose and the ramifications of losing and let the fear of losing affect their nerves. It's hard to win big games when you're anxious.
If they actually didn't care that much, they might have a better record in elimination games. They have players with a lot of technical skill and you would expect a team with that much talent to win series-clinching games more often. They need to try hard but also to just chill and play hockey.
Leafs will choke as usual
