Just watched the replay, I don't see Bob showing any focus on his stick. I see his hands go up like hes wondering whats going on. I don't see him motioning specifically to the stick being knocked out.
Maybe theres a different angle I haven't seen.
He throws up his hands which to me is gesturing “knocked stick out of my hands”, that was the main disruption on his ability to make the save, when Heinen nudged his skate he barely moved and made no indication it bothered him.
If you were a goalie and had your skate nudged and then after had your stick knocked out of your hands just as the puck was coming, which interference do you think your brain would focus on?
