So far he's massively exceeded my expectations for what he'd give us this year. He's actually had a positive impact defensively because he's been great at retrieving pucks and making a good first pass to get us out of the zone.

Not what the people who've been wanting him in have been saying repeatedly or anything, nope...definitely not /sarcasm. And when he gets more comfortable, he can actually skate the puck out himself, just like Jack.
