Did Haula's time with Carolina end poorly?

I don't know much about it, but I did look up his game log and he did have a recently similar chiller (not quite as bad) during the second half of the season he was there. A good deal of his goals that season came in the first like 10 games or month of the season and he hardly had any after that until he was traded to Florida at the deadline in the Trocheck deal.
