Must have been nice to have some damn fun out there for the first time in a week. B’s need to harness this energy and bring it with them into Game 2. A lot of us were hoping to see them “steal” one from the Panthers, but this was an armed robbery.

It’s an interesting situation. The way MT uses the back of his shoulders to create high contact is very effective but there has to be a way to counter that hit without receiving a penalty.

Cats D looks tired and slow. Hit them every chance you get it will pay off in the long run. Especially Ekblad and Montour. Mikkola did nothing.
As for Tkachuk just leave him be I think he will go out of his way to try to get under the Bruins skin. When he does make him pay.

Was anyone expecting that? I’d say a pretty amazing performance by just about everyone. I was thoroughly entertained.

Still a long way to go, but being up 1-0 is better than being down 0-1 and it will be interesting to see how both teams follow up.

IMO, the hit on Carlo was legal. The second one in the corner was borderline interference.

I’m referencing hitting the guy who is attempting a reverse hit. Can a Bruin hit MT from behind as a counter to the reverse check without getting a penalty?
