First period observation…Carolina’s defense is not very mobile. Burns looks his age and Chatfield in particular. They are getting turned around by the Ranger forecheck. Canes really miss Pesce.

NYR also trying to work the puck from down low near the goal line and cut in towards the net.

Some of that may have been incidental but it's worth keeping an eye on to see if it's an intentional tactic.

nah, his elbow hit him in the chest and came up after. his feet were also on the ice until after the contact. it was very similar to the panarin hit on oshie and the hit trouba throws all the time.

The Panarin hit on Oshie and the hits Trouba throws all the time are headshots.

I disagreed with the idea that Panarin should be suspended mostly because they let worse go all the time, but he hit Oshie right in the head.

They play really high up and ultra aggressive, especially on the PK. Move the puck and they're all out of position.
