They win games working like crazy and they're a bit more average when everyone plays like their lives are on the line.

On the other hand, the Rangers had one of most fuel-efficient 50+ win seasons I've ever seen.

My take: while Rod was doing conditioning drills, we were drowning in tape. Every Carolina power play, penalty kill, breakout and forecheck.

Should be playing every first shift after special teams. Put him with the fourth liners for extra shifts.

The man is a great player. If he made a decision not to shoot then I respect it.

The Rangers absolutely toyed with the Canes in that period. Looked like a pro team playing a college team. Should be 4-0 instead of 3-1. Soft goal allowed and Mika should have scored that last super high percentage chance he decided to backpass.
