they are struggling mightily with a Toronto team that has not impressed and required 6 games and 3 OTs for the Senators. a post from needing a game 7 coin flip. whereas last year they bulldozed everyone on their way to the finals.
Well, sure, you get to play those games in your imagination.

Ohh I see. My apologies. A 2028 first. Interesting condition. Surprised Boston wouldn't have wanted that potential first to be in 27. How is the expected draft class in 2028?
I'm guessing it's because the 2027 1st is already a backup condition of the Seth Jones deal ('27 1st if Florida doesn't have its '26 1st.)

We're winning this f***ing series. Leafs in 7 was my original prediction. Sticking with it. Florida is a highly impressive, super elite team... But their time was last year.

Barcelona
Leafs

My two teams..Barca won today.. another parade in June, down Yonge St baby.

I was absolutely not surprise the Leafs went to win game 6 . Pushing a series to 7 after getting embarrassed is something this Leafs core has done multiple times before.

I would be very , pleasantly i might add , surprised if they win game 7 because they've never done that since they've played together.

A ton of things changed on the Leafs but the core is still the same players. Are they still the same ? Until they show otherwise the belief has to be they are.

Well for some it's just an excuse to be part of the party. The Leaf players are advertised repeatedly, they are treated like demiGods in Toronto specifically but even well known around Canada and around the globe.

I'm old enough to have been in my youth when the Jays won back to back in 92 and 93. A million people were downtown walking the streets on game night. It was unmatched. Multiple women walking by hugging and kissing me and I know I'm not alone. It was a hell of a fun night and you couldn't get more people out there if we had just won a war.

Not everyone was into sports as my circle of friends were but everyone was a Jays fan that night and even the casual fan knew the players names.

If the Leafs win, it will make that insane scene seem mild, especially with this group as they have been together for a decade. I hope it occurs and I would envy those younger fans who will be a part of such a massive party on game night and any subsequent parade.
There's a remarkable energy in Tronnah right now, very excited to still live here for tomorrow nights game. Gonna be downtown and hope to see it like you did for the Jays back in the day.

Toronto played a tight series against the Senators. I guarantee that the team that ends up winning the cup would have swept the Senators.
You can't possibly guarantee anything like that. Florida bulldozed tampa, but because the toronto series is going 7, florida is beatable and worse than previous years not possible for the leafs to be good. Sure thing hater.
Florida is a tough team, they are aggressive, hard working amd play playoff hockey better than anyone. If toronto takes them down it will be a massive accomplishment. Your narrative is nonsense.

no matter who wins, it will be good. panthers take a step towards defending their cup in the finals or leafs shake another monkey off their backs.

Can someone make sense of these schedule makers. It should be the west atleast starting Tuesday.

Schedule was made before last nights Game 6 finished imho . In the case a game 7 in the Jets-Stars had to be played i'm pretty sure the WCF still starts Wednesday .

I think the surprise was ESPN taking the WCF, had they taken the ECF as most thought they would then they'd have started Wednesday and the WCF Tuesday. League could still have made a last minute change and moved the ECF to Thursday once ESPN made that choice

I'm surprised there isn't more talk about this. That was a nasty collision. If I was a Panthers fan I'd be kind of worried over whether Bob is actually OK.
