Relax broConsidering the disproportionate reffing, Matthews being injured most of the season, Stolarz absent all series and now Knies injured in game 6 and possibly not coming back for game 7.. Taking it this far was a herculean task.
And all of this against a healthy Panthers. There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that the leafs are and have been the better team, regardless of game 7s outcome. Terrific job by them.
you rather take cancer?Hope the Leafs win but not for the usual, obvious reasons. A Florida/Carolina conference final would likely be a cure for insomnia.
Sir, it's future Maple Leafs player Aaron Ekblad to you.Everytime Ekblad is on the ice florida struggles
They gonna have to hide him.
As an Oilers fan who doesn’t like the Leafs at all, I’m gonna go with the hot take that they’ll actually win Game 7.
Bob lets in a terrible one early and it snowballs.
5-2 Leafs.
Sir, it's future Maple Leafs player Aaron Ekblad to you.
Both teams looked like garbage. Both teams had zero urgency. It felt like I was watching a regular season game in January not a playoff game. Bob let in a muffin with no traffic that even an AHL goalie should have stopped and that was the game. Let's hope game 7 is more exciting. It put me to sleep.I had confidence Florida would win the series even after they were down 0-2 in the series. I thought they would respond at home and they did with 2 wins. Then they completely dominated Game 5.
But with how they played this evening, with no sense of urgency and getting shut-out at home with a chance to win the series after dominating the previous two games, my feelings have now changed. Especially now that Matthews has managed to score.
This is the first time all series that I feel like Florida isn't going to win this.
This evening was their chance and they blew it.
In round 2...un defeated.what's the Leafs record in Game 7s in the "Core 4" era?
Yeah, wife and I were talking about it. Florida pulls the goalie down 2 with a couple minutes left and almost half the lower bowl was emptying out.Did anyone else notice the empty seats with a bit under 2 minutes left. WTF lol?
Shorthand after a terrible Wes McCauley callYou need to go all the way. 3-2 Leafs triple overtime on a Marchand turnover after blowing a 2-0 lead in the 3rd.
Shorthand after a terrible Wes McCauley call
It would be both stupid and really funny if they assign Wes McCauley to game 7.
Ekblad 5on5 corsi 30 for, 12 against but okEverytime Ekblad is on the ice florida struggles
They gonna have to hide him.

You view it wrong, it was a game of chess between two teams who have been through a couple of physical series. I haven't felt well for a couple of days now and it was tiring just to watch. Imagine having to play if banged up or not feeling well while remaining engaged and focused? That's how many of these guys are right now 31 Blocked shots by the Leafs, that's their DNA this season. Both teams looked like garbage. Both teams had zero urgency.
