Florida would be wise to decline any penalties. Their power play is losing them this series.

Yeah both teams PPs have been awful this series.

I had confidence Florida would win the series even after they were down 0-2 in the series. I thought they would respond at home and they did with 2 wins. Then they completely dominated Game 5.

But with how they played this evening, with no sense of urgency and getting shut-out at home with a chance to win the series after dominating the previous two games, my feelings have now changed. Especially now that Matthews has managed to score.

This is the first time all series that I feel like Florida isn't going to win this.

This evening was their chance and they blew it.

I think you are right that this was it for Florida. I'm not sure game 7 will end up being close. I think the Leafs will get out to an early two goal lead, and that will be game.

Being the defending champs can be a different kind of pressure. They might feel like this is their window. Even so, they've faced adversity before against Edmonton.

Lose the Bruins a first round pick
Eliminate Marchand
Eliminate Florida

Can piss off both the Bruins and Panthers and their fans by winning the next game. Can’t ask for anything better than that.

I think it honestly is a toss up. Leafs are due for an explosive night offensively, but the Panthers are very experienced and poised. It should be a good game 7, wouldn't be surprised if it went to overtime, high scoring or not.

Said earlier in the series that these Leafs are not the same and they're coming.. I think the Leafs do the impossible and end the Cats run with Woll in net. If they do, they might be on their way to doing the biggest impossible: Getting the Cup to go home.
