To show you the hypocrisy of Panthers fans and the DoPS as well as provide context to the Domi hit

People are pretending like that hit just fell out of the sky, there was nothing leading up to it and Domi is some villain and the Panthers are innocent victims

Meanwhile they got away with 4 legitimate suspendable headshots so far in this series, that weren't even penalized

Fans like yourself keep trying to deflect from the numerous dirty hits your team makes on a nightly basis. You're more than welcome to discuss the game results, you won't find me complaining about the loss. Florida deserved the W last night, no question about it.

But why can't we discuss that the Panthers committed multiple headshots and should be disciplined for them ?

Just the fact that for like the 8th year in a row now the league has set the precedent that it is perfectly ok to head shot our players and not be penalized for it. Of course you wouldn't want to discuss that though, cause that would mean multiple Panthers players face suspensions.

For the record, Kadri got suspended for 2 entire series for the same hit (1 on Debrusk, 1 on Wingels), Bunting got 3 games for headshotting/elbowing Cernak 2 years ago

If Maurice and Barkov refuse to keep their dogs on a leash, and DoPS refuses to protect the players and do their job, the Panthers should be ready for the eventual retaliation.

You can't be seriously try to head hunt every single game and not expect anything in return.
Game 4 was devastating for Toronto and I mean with all the respect, as an Elite team as the Leafs are, there is no need to look for boogeyman conspiracies, it was a game where the Panthers were the better team for 60 minutes and Toronto got shutout, no conspiracies here, there is a video about 3 hours long that proves it.

You have a great team and that is widely recognized, no argument there, what people make fun of, are the fans, they are too hyperbolic and rush to conclusion even before a single game has been played.

Every hit turns into an outcry for suspensions and to top that the DOPS is working together with the panthers, (crazy) that is so out there, that you have to reach far and wide to find anything resembling your comments.

You will find that panthers fans do not sit on a circle lamenting how the officiating was every time we lose, on the contrary, we are quick in jest to trash our own players, heck, we trash Tkachuk every single day.

You need to direct your criticism to your own players and have a heated discussion as to what are the things your team is doing wrong and what can it be done to change that, as a fan, that is where I find more entertainment value.

Having said that, Toronto can turn it around on the next game and would be the losers, that is Playoff hockey, every game is different.

good post

While Reaves is the better fighter, still, the Panthers have Gadjovich to step in, or do equal damage. He's actually playing because he's an effective player, unlike Reaves at this stage of his career. in fact, Benoit tried to get into it with Lundell last night and Gadjo skated over, said something, and Benoit wisely backed away. Benoit is a good fighter in his "class," but the line guy in Gadjo's class won't be on the ice.
100%. Gadjovich is tough as shit. He went toe to toe with Olivier and more than held his own.

My point isn't who would win in a scrap between the two, although Reaves likely wins. I am saying if Reaves could still play, he would act as, shall we say, a deterrant for cheap shots and keep other teams honest.

The issue? Playing him is a big W for the Panthers.

I still think Toronto takes this series. But either way, I think the winner of this series will trounce WSH or CAR and end up being the team to represent the East in the Cup Final.

Clueless post

No one is blaming the officials for the loss

We're blaming the officials and DoPS for allowing Panthers players to repeatedly take runs at our players heads without being disciplined for it

As for "boogeyman conspiracies" You might not be aware of this, but your assistant GMs dad is an NHL executive and actually Parros' boss. Parros is the guy in charge of the DoPS who hands out suspensions and fines.

Your assistant GMs dad was literally threatening referees for calling penalties against his son when he was a player. There are literal leaked emails where you can read for yourself.

One opposing player in particular Campbell sr had a problem with was, Marc Savard (Our assistant coach now) He was literally calling for the referees to allow players to run him. He was calling him profanities and laughing at him for being concussed, this is literally documented.

When Matt Cooke ended Savards career with that dirty hit, it was Campbell sr. who allowed Cooke to get away with it. You see Colin Campbell was the guy in charge of handing suspensions out at that time. Because of Marc Savard once drawing a penalty against his son, and Campbell losing his shit over it, he had this grudge against Savard.

Now this series. His son on 1 side, who Campbell sr has a legitimate recorded history of helping through pressuring and threatening the referees and other members of the league.

Vs The Leafs and Marc Savard, the 1 guy he hated the most, who he literally told referees to allow players to board/head shot.

So if you think this is some "boogeyman conspiracy" you really don't know your hockey history, and this is still fairly recent, only like 15 ish years ago.

Unless of course you believe Colin Campbell is some magically changed man now at 72 years old.

I don’t think Florida would stop playing their game, but we’ll likely never know.
Who on Florida would even fight? Bunch of hold me back bros on Florida. You see marchand at the end lol linesman had no problems holding him back like a little kid.
Bennett, Greer, Gadjovich, Tkachuk has fought before, Schmidt just got lit up by Domi but he still fought…they’ll fight, they just don’t always have to. And no one on Toronto can handle Gadjovich except Reaves, who won’t be out there.

Solid post.
It’s tiring reading the same conspiracy theories from some Toronto fans year after year no matter who is the opponent.

I think Toronto needs to break up Matthews and Marner. It ain't working. If they break them up, they have a shot. If not, Leafs are toast.

Clueless post, lmfao go read my posts again

I would ask kindly again and with all the respect, find why some players make the decisions that they made at critical times, that my friend is worth a discussion, if you win next game, I would not be surprised that any of these crazy talks will be absent, no mention of the officiating.
