Obviously a must win for FL...I expect them to win tonight.

I do as well. I just want it to be a competitive game. Panthers come out and win 6-1 I think it rattles the Toronto market (not so much the players).

If it is 3-2 OT type of game, shit happens. Were never sweeping the Panthers be ready for game 4 kind of deal.

Now, if the Leafs win game 3.....

I think people are over-estimating what Florida is. Tonight will probably go a long way to changing that opinion.

I have Toronto in 6. I think the champs fight back and take this one. Too much hubris without hardware isn't good.

Still gotta beat the man, to be the man.
Florida won't win two games in this series. They took their shot in game 2, but they have lost too much talent on defense from last season, and Jones doesn't bridge the gap (given the mistakes he is also prone to making). Carolina or Washington may provide a more difficult match-up for Toronto.

What's with the hype about the Leafs being deep? They might be, but as of right now half their forwards don't have a goal, so we don't really know.

Hope you are right but I don't think it will be that easy...

Well, the series doesn't start until you lose at home.
FLA has a chance to defend home ice and bring this back to a best 2/3 (like Oilers did to the Kings).
I don't think you can underestimate the heart of a champion. Leafs are unexperienced. Let's see what happens

If this was actually a thing, every Cup winner would keep repeating. What happened to Vegas the year after they won the Cup? Or St. Louis the year after they won? Teams change, Sometimes they just aren't as good as they were the year before.

Big leafs homer here, I think Florida wins both games at home and this series goes the distance. Could honestly see Florida win four straight. Pains me to say.
Part of me agrees as I've been through it all since 1967, but part of me also see's the improvements in the team this year so I still remain cautiously optimistic, but yes I'm well aware they can lay an egg at any time...lol

Leafs going all the way baby. I might not root for them but I respect them. Especially if they make it to conference finals, it’d shake that ‘ bunch of losers ‘ stereotype/label a bit.

I'll always have a soft spot for the Sabres from their Hasek / Lafontaine days, even though I was too young to remember them well. I always picked the Sabres or Red Wings in those old video games. Hope the dark days are soon over for you guys.
