Isn’t it Florida’s turn to do the GDT?

Maybe the pressure is getting to Stolarz?
I think some MODs need to realize Florida fans deserve the home GDTs?

Anywho, Florida gonna rock the Leafs tonight and even up the series soon enough.

Hoping the refs let them play and swallow their whistles.

If the home team wants the GDT, they need to actually make one.

Not whatever the hell this is.

Go look at their "GDT". Been here for years you know how it works they take the GDT that has effort put in. In fact they passed on a Leafs GDT last year for the Bruins so shit happens

Yes, it is the HOME teams unless it’s not up to par.

Did a Florida fan make a GDT that should have been pasted in here?
The Dallas GDT (Who are also away) was used for the same reason the Toronto one was used.

They should, because theyve been getting killed by the current match ups with the top 2 lines.
I think that is quite evident for anyone watching this series, but I think Maurice is too arrogant to make this change.
Most likely he will try to shelter third pairing a bit better and increase third line minutes.

They can Stop making those mistakes
If every team could stop making mistakes, everyone would be a winner! The whole point is that the inferior talent on Florida's blue line makes it impossible for them to stop making those mistakes. Toronto will continue to get lots of odd-man breaks, probably even more tonight than in the first two games because Florida will have to be even more aggressive tonight.

Any chance Florida puts the Barkov line on Toronto's second line, instead of their first?

Nylander and Pacioretty have both been dangerous and Matthews hasn't been scoring. Wonder if Maurice approaches the match ups a little differently and rolls the dice on the Knies-Matthews-Marner line being less dangerous offensively.

The issue there of course is that Matthews might get going, and Knies has shown he can bury it.

The Leafs top line is effectively a high end checking/shutdown line with AM34 and Marner being Elite 200 ft players with Knies being a great X-factor mixing it up all over the ice.

I think Florida would be wise to put the Barkov against the JT line, otherwise they're just canceling out each other with the Matthews line. I've been surprised and impressed with how Chief is utilizing all four lines against Florida.

Wow, a Flopida fan thinks the refs shouldn't call all their cheap shots, dirty play, and diving??

Yep, and Berube is going line for line, but if the tops two lines effectively negate one another, and Toronto is winning the second line matchup, then Florida's best opportunities probably come from their third line (Lundell) - which has looked pretty good.

Maybe the play in Game 3 with home ice is to staple Barkov to Nylander, and run the Lundell or Bennett line against Matthews.

Curious to see the adjustments.

I want to give credit where credit is due, people are saying that Matthews isn't scoring enough in the series and I think that's probably because his line is getting matched up with Barkov who has proven to be extremely effective against even the best such as McDavid.

The Leafs bottom six has been very effective in general and has been contributing more than their fair share offensively, that is what I think is really tilting the series as well as everyone collectively committing to the team effort blocking shots, etc.

Tough break for Tkachuk if he is shutting it down for the season. I was surprised he came back in the Tampa series. He hasn't looked anything like himself in the first two games of this series.

I never seen any ref in glasses. So there is no vision plan… or plan… or vision.

There was a college football official who wore glasses. I think he may actually be up in the NFL now, but I'm not sure.

I wore contact lenses to ref, but I own a pair of glasses too. One day I was having a hard time with my eyes, so wore my glasses all day, but I had games that night. Didn't put my contact lenses in until I got to the rink, and took them out once I was done. While walking out of the rink, I hadn't put my glasses back on yet (was planning to once I got back to my car), and they fell out of my coat pocket without me noticing. A player from the game I had just worked who was following me out of the rink picked them up and handed them to me. He didn't say anything, but I had to stifle a laugh. The act of a player handing the referee a pair of glasses was pretty hilarious.
