I wonder how much the next goal swings the odds on winning the series.

We get it and go up 3-1 and are strong favorites to win this game and go up 3-0 in the series.

They get it, it's 2-2 and the live game odds would most likely have Florida the favorite to win the game and make it a 2-1 series.

Next goal is very big.

I don't even care if they want to get whistle-happy. Just be f***ing consistent. You can't watch the Florida PK'er crosscheck Marner in the face and shrug, and then call crosschecking to Tkachuk 20 seconds later.
Wes has always been about himself, the star of the show. I don't understand why does he still has a job.

I’m telling you all it’s time to stop expecting offensive plays from matthews, specifically putting the puck in the net or being the playmaker

Treat him like danault when watching him, it feels way better this way IMO

Jeebuzz, passes get yer passes, get yer red hot passes

If that were Marner you'd be tightening the noose
If marner was injured I wouldn’t be making the same complaint you’d actually surprised to know that I don’t like Matthew’s anymore than I like marner I just have eyes

Probably the same reason Kerry Fraser lasted as long as he did; you know he's going to f*** somebody to get his mug on TV.

I still remember the time one of the coaches angrily threw a stick on the ice and hit Kerry Fraser in the foot, and the next game he came out with a helmet on. Guess he was afraid someone might wreck his hair.

He must be. All the looks he is getting but he not snapping, he is slapping.

That screams wrist.

If he were in mid season form from last year, he probably has 4 or 5 goals this post season. He is getting looks but his normal muscle memory isn't there for the slapshot as a Brett Hull or Ovi would be.

He undersold his injury when asked about it in the Ottawa series, basically said "it's the playoffs, guys are all dealing with different things".

This is true, but you know his is has a bigger impact on his game. He literally made his millions with that snapshot
It's funny though.. a while ago I read an article about Marner and Matthews being so obvious with the whole pass and shoot... that now if that's the case(seems very likely)... that it's making the Leafs better.

It's not just that... it's multiple things... like anytime things go right... but I think it might be part of it.

It's giving that line the ability to make the opposition guess. Knies helps too lol.

Never thought it would be possible for Matthews to kill a line offensively but his shot has gone from elite to dogs***
Hes not really killing the line roles just need to change that’s a couple times marners leaked out behind the Defense he should be doing that more Matthews is gonna be more defensive

Injuries have never been an excuse, if you can go then you need to find a way to get it done, or find a way to help. If you can't next man up

It's about wins now. Doesn't matter who scores as long as they defend and score more than the other team.

Little details matter in the post season, win faceoffs, block shots, takeaways, hits, smart decisions.

I am not liking the number of icings they are taking as a team, this is their confidence in their faceoff success which has been strong this post season.

Wasn't big on that hit on Marner to be honest. That should be dealt with.

Benny's hit on Forsling was a beauty. I'm sure he's collecting numbers.

Domi needs to make his penalties count.

So far playing great, this team was definitely ready for puck drop.
