They use Barkov's line against Matthews' line and hard match their Jones/Forsling pairing to Nylander's line. Being home is just gonna make it that much easier for them to get this matchup.

I would seriously consider matching Barkov against Nylander and Tavares if I was Maurice. It might stop Nylander and they could take advantage of their defensive game. Especially if Matthews is unable to score.

Ideally that's the role they like Matt Tkachuk in but he's looking a little laboured and Toronto's not had much issue keeping him in check. Maurice is very, very committed to Barkov being his matchup dominating guy.

Match their all out brawling start in the first 5-10. Counter punch at the earliest. Try into to give up the first goal. Stick with it if you do. Or get the first one early. Don’t stop pushing. Hit all their defensemen hard on retrievals and beat up all their star guys in small areas. Also, someone should give Lundell a hard time too. He goes unnoticed and is a killer out there.

I expect the style of game tonight to be virtually identical to game 2, with the same result. I said the Leafs would win in 5 games at the start of this series, but after watching Florida in the first two games I'm not sure they will be able to figure out the Leafs in this series.

He never should have come back. I said when the injury was first reported that he would be done for the season.
